Meet the Families

Who We Are:

We are a caring, energetic and adventurous couple that is looking to expand our family through adoption. We have been together for 11 years and married for 3. We have two affectionate four-year-old cats named Mia and Milo, who love to cuddle and play. We have a deep support network with our family and friends and are excited to welcome children into our home.

Hobbies and Interests:

We enjoy playing sports, board games, and traveling. We are active in multiple sports leagues and enjoy playing pickup games when available. We frequently enjoy traveling to cultural or community events and try to take larger trips to a new location at least once a year. Zach loves volleyball and disc golf when being active and enjoys playing video games in his down time. Ellie loves kickball, board games with friends, and relaxing with a good tv show.

What Makes Us Who We Are:

Ellie was adopted as a toddler and her lived experience is helping her prepare to become an adoptive parent. She and Zach are transparent and compassionate problem solvers that tackle any issue with the mantra “It’s you and I VS the problem”. We each have overcome hardships in our lives, and those hardships have instilled in us  the value of open communication, a strong support network and asking for help when needed. We look forward to advocating for our children, enjoying new memories and experiences with them, and ensuring they live in a healthy and safe home.
