Who We Are:
We are a loving, fun, and adventurous couple looking to build our family through adoption. We have been together for 15 years and married for 11. We have an excitable 8-year-old dog named Odie, a mixed breed rescue, who is great with kids and loves to snug. We live in a 4-bedroom Cape-style house in the town of Holbrook, MA in a quiet residential neighborhood with lots of families with kids and pets. Our house has a nice screened-in porch which overlooks our backyard, which has a pool, a patio, a vegetable garden, occasional bunnies, and plenty of room for play.
Hobbies & Interests:
We enjoy reading, playing games, cooking, traveling, hiking, watching the Celtics and the Patriots, skiing, and time with our families and friends. Ted likes to work around the house and in the yard, and serves on several boards in the town. Jill likes yoga, baking, and coloring. We are open to new experiences and love to explore new cultures and foods.
What Makes Us Who We Are:
We have experienced hardship before both individually and as a couple. These tough times have tested us, but we have come out stronger as a family as a result. These experiences have taught us the importance of openness, honesty, patience, and compassion, values we believe will help us raise a child/children. We have strong support networks in the area – both of our families live in the Greater Boston area – and plenty of volunteers to be our village to help raise a child/children.
