Adoption Community of New England provides education, information, advocacy and support for all who are touched by adoption and foster care. ACONE hosts ongoing programs, such as Baby Care for Pre-Adoptive Parents, and support groups for all those touched by adoption.

The Donaldson Adoption Institute is a research and policy based organization that strives to provide leadership that improves adoption laws, policies and practices — through sound research, education and advocacy — in order to better the lives of everyone touched by adoption. This is a good place to learn more about what the research says about any aspect of adoption that interests you.
The Child Welfare League of America is an organization that advocates for and promotes the well-being of children, youth, and their families. The site has an extensive media library discussing issues and trends in parenting and adoption.

Child Welfare Information Gateway connects child welfare and related professionals to comprehensive information and resources to help protect children and strengthen families. The Gateway features the latest on topics from prevention to permanency, including child abuse and neglect, foster care, and adoption.
The National Center on Adoption and Permanency is a unique nonprofit organization that provides a broad range of information, resources, consultation and multidisciplinary services relating to adoption, foster care and child welfare.
