Meet the Families
About Us
We have lived and traveled a lot over the years residing together in NYC and then North Carolina before relocating back to New England where we feel most at home. Our crew, scattered around Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and afar, is excited for our future family member’s arrival, sparking friendly debates over who gets the first snuggles and adventures.
We’re psyched about showing a little one the awesome adventures of New England and creating holiday memories. Showing our future child our favorite places and sharing our future child with extended family adds an extra layer of excitement to these moments.

Craig, born in Alaska and raised in New Hampshire, has a passion for outdoor adventures. Growing up in the Granite State, he loves being outdoors hiking. He also loves reading, cooking up delicious dinners, and being the go-to host for gatherings at our house.
Craig grew up with his parents, Karmen and Mark. His tight-knit family includes two awesome brothers, Corey (his twin) and Cameron (his younger brother). Craig does not like to sit still and loves to experience new things whenever he can. Craig works in product marketing and has been enjoying his career at the intersection of technology and financial services world for over 10 years. He’s also been known to jump into the classroom and enable STEM projects.
DJ
DJ was born and raised in Vermont. From an early age, DJ’s world revolved around singing for all to hear and the magic of theater. Now, as an elementary school teacher, DJ infuses that same passion into the classroom, creating an engaging and vibrant learning environment. DJ enjoys spending time surrounded by family and laughing with lifelong friends. DJ is an elementary school teacher and has been helping foster confidence in early childhood students for 7 years now.
DJ’s Own Adoption Story
DJ grew up with his parents, Glenna and AJ, from the age of 6 months and was officially adopted by them on July 30, 2008 at the age of 13. DJ has met his biological parents and regularly sees and communicates with his biological dad. He was also able to meet some of his biological siblings in 2023.
Home and Beyond
Living in Boston is a great mix of culture and endless fun. There are great schools and tons of support for families, plus parks and cool spots to explore. It’s a perfect balance of learning, adventure and home life. Our home includes our 3 year old Labradoodle, Leigh, and lots of plants which is a passion of Craig’s.
Our Foster Parent Journey
Over the years we lived in North Carolina, we became foster parents to support children in our community. This was the beginning of where we are today on our journey to share our love and grow our family. We are beyond grateful for the time we spent with the foster babies we supported. We are prepared to create a home environment imbued with love, acceptance, and the celebration of differences. The babies’ faces are covered to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
