Meet the Families

Hi! We’re Jillian (on the left) and Isabella (on the right). Thank you for taking the time to read about us as you consider your options in parenting and adoption.

We started talking about adoption early on in our relationship, and after a great deal of research, listening, and reflection, it became clear to us that adoption was right for our family. We are grateful to be able to pursue open adoption, and would love to build a close relationship with you. Adoption has the power to bring a child’s first family and adoptive family together through their shared love for the child, and we are excited to explore what that might look like for your family and ours.

We have loved our roles as aunties, teachers, and neighbors in the lives of children, and we are so excited to welcome a child into our family. We can’t wait to help our child learn about the world through adventures big and small, from nature walks through the woods behind our house to overseas travels. We look forward to singing lullabies, getting our hands dirty with fingerpaint and face paint, and discovering our child’s unique personality and interests as they grow. We are ready to meet parenting challenges with patience and humor, and to lean on the strength of our relationship as we learn.
