Our Promise

Thank you so much for considering us and taking the time to read about our lives, hopes, and values. We promise and commit to creating a safe and nurturing home so that any child who becomes part of our family will receive unconditional love, care, and support. We promise to honor you, your family, and your place in your child’s life. We promise to talk openly and often about you with your child, and show them how important you are in our shared family. We promise to incorporate important cultural, religious, and other traditions from you and your family into our family. We promise to love your child no matter what.

We value the many ethnicities, cultures, and traditions in this world and we know how important positive racial identity development is for children. If we become a multiracial family, we are committed to lifelong learning, hard work, and making any changes necessary to support our child’s racial identity and create meaningful and supportive community for our child.

We can’t wait to meet our child, parent them, learn about who they are, and love them and their family. We can’t wait to develop a lifelong bond with our child’s birth family and incorporate new family members into our lives. We are so excited about all the ways our lives will expand through this journey. We have so much love to give!
