Meet the Families

We know that we will have to learn and grow in order to be the best parents we can be, and we want to provide the world to our child. Every single day we will work to do that for your baby, making sure that they can blaze their own trail in the world, with us right by their side.

It is essential to us to raise a child that has a deep appreciation and understanding of their own culture and background as well as others. This includes making sure that our child has ample opportunities to interact with peers and adults from a wide variety of cultures and races. At home, we are committed to creating a environment that is global in perspective through books, movies, and ongoing family conversation. Overall, if our child is from the same racial and cultural background as ourselves, we hope to create a space where they can not only learn about the greater community that they are part of, but can actively experience it.

If you are willing to consider us as adoptive parents, we hope that you will choose to be a part of the extended community that helps to raise our child. In order to do this, we hope to have an open and ongoing conversation with you about your wishes and hopes for our child, including ensuring that they know what you value. We are excited to work together with you to establish ways to share in the growth and life of our child, including discussing how often to have in-person visits and any other topics that are important to you as a birth family, and establishing a system for the sharing of pictures and other information.
